Using Your Board with Interactive Websites and Subscriptions
I know how exciting it is to get this wonderful tool for your classroom. Learning how to use it might be a little daunting! Here's an easy way to start using it right away without much effort! This is basically using the board as an extra computer monitor. 1. Make sure the IWB cable is plugged in to your laptop. 2. That's it! Don't even open the ActivInspire software. You don't need it for this!
There isn't a power button on the board. Just plugging it in and connecting it to your laptop will give it the power it needs. The flame should light up in the upper left hand corner of the baord.
You might notice a button on the left hand side (dark gray boards only). This is only for audio. Since you have sound systems you don't really need to use the audio.
Now anything on the Internet that is interactive will be interactive on the board. Just think of the board as your computer monitor and the pen is the mouse.
